Today we had an an jungle parade.

We got a present, it was matacognition. That means we think about our thinking and it's a great present because we take it everywhere!

We discover there are keys in reading that help us get to the authors message.

We have tulips, bulbs, a starfish and a sand dollar to wonder about.

Everyone looks awesome in their jungle masks! I was sorry not to see the parade, but I'm glad that Natalie's grandma and little brother were there for it. Nice job!

I am so impressed that you are all using your metacognition! I teach kids who are in high school, and I am always reminding them to be thinking about their thinking, so it is wonderful to see you already working on this skill. It will be very useful forever more!

I can only imagine what these beautiful minds will be thinking as they grow as thinkers and learners!

Glad you guys are enjoying the tulips and that they have caused you to do a lot of wondering! Keep asking those great questions.
