The president of the United States has a big job to do. The president makes rules and laws to keep our country safe and strong.
If you were the president for the day what rules would you make and why?

I think being President of the United States would be a very hard job. Arushi has some very good ideas for being president. If I were president, I would want to make sure schools were great places for kids to learn. I'd make sure there were enough books everywhere. Schools would have computers, iPods, and iPads so students could easily share their learning with the world. Kids would need good lunches so they were ready to learn every day.

Mrs. Frazier's class, I loved your question. I'm going to see what my class thinks about this.

Schools do need electronics. You do have some really good ideas. We think being the president would be a hard job. Schools do need a great lunch.

We are looking forward to seeing what your class thinks about our questions.

If I were president for a day I would make sure that we invest in our children's education to ensure that they were prepared to lead our great nation. By investing in our children we invest in our future. I would also make sure that every child has the opportunity to attend a university or college without the worry of how to fund their education.
