A Special Visit All the Way From India!

A HUGE THANK YOU to Mrs. Sharma, your hard work was so appreciated and you looked just BEAUTIFUL!!

Mrs. Sharma also shared some clothes from India. Mrs. Sharma dressed Mrs. Frazier is a sari and shared a dress outfit a girl in India would wear! The clothes were very colorful and beautiful!

Today Mrs. Sharma visited our classroom to introduce us to the Indian culture. Mrs. Sharma brought in 3 foods:
pictured above top right moving clock wise-Phrata's (made from wheat flour and stuffed with potatoes), Pakora (also made from flour and potatoes but deep fried) and Shaker Para (made from wheat flour, deep fried and then rolled in sugar and syrup).
We all enjoyed the food and most were pleasantly surprised they liked the food!

That is great that all the kids tried the foods. Even my picky Duncan who won't even try a cinnamon roll said he liked the food. What a great idea, and thanks to Mrs. Sharma for sharing!

I am so glad to see the post. Ryder really liked what he called wrapped potatoes. This is huge as he only eats three things normally.
