We had math and Mrs. Frazier asked us to push our brains. She gave us a 3 digit number. Mrs. Frazier set the timer for 20 minutes and told us to write what you know about this number at least 4 ways.

After we were finished we felt really proud because we never pushed our brains this hard  before.  We showed the number more than 4 ways.  Jonathan and lots of others showed the number 12 ways!  Saanvi told us 24 things about our number!

Read our charts in the picture to learn about how we felt in the challenge!

Want to PUSH your brain? Tell us about this number 212. How many things can you tell us about 212?

Here are few more things that I could think of:
1)The middle digit is exactly half of the 1st and 3rd digit.
2)It is 2 times the number 106
3)It is 4 times the number 53
3)It is one of the area codes for New York city.

1.212 has 1 10 and 2 1's and 2 hundreds.
2.if I trend 212 around it wold be the same number.
3.212 is bigger than 69 because it has 2 hundreds
4.212 +10=222.
5.212-2-2=208.
6.212,222,232,242,252,262.
7.212,210,208,206,204,202.
8.212 has a 21 in it.
9.212 has a 12 in it.
10.212 +30=232
11.212-4=204.
12.in place value it wold be 2 2 x's and 1 lines and 2 dots.
13. if i switch the 1 and 2 around it wold be 122.

1. It has 2 hundreds, 1 ten and 2 ones
2. If you add all of the numbers together you get 5 (2+1+2)
3. 212 - 12 = 200
4. If it was a pattern 1 would come next (2121)
5. It has '21' in it
6. It has '12' in it
7. 212-200 = 12
