We are first grade readers and we are wondering why you read? Please comment below and tell us what you read and why? 

School is fun we learn lots of stuff. We are excited because 12 of us have a shelf on Shelfari! If you have a shelf on Shelfari please follow our class at Mrs. Frazier 2013. When we all follow each other we can see our friend's books and leave each other comments and even share books! Brody says make sure you see the check mark to make sure you are following us. 

We made this promise because we want to learn about others, feel safe and respected. We know we need to take care of ourselves and others. We worked very hard with our groups to get it done. We listened to the directions and we thought about what we would do.

Today we Skyped with Miss Claudia Ru's class. Our new friends live in Guatemala. We shared our work. Both Miss Ru's class and ours celebrated International Dot Day. We shared our work and what we learned from reading Peter H. Reynolds' book The Dot.
