Science and the Root Beer Float

5/2/2014

As a culminating learning experience for our Physical Science unit we made (and enjoyed) ROOT BEER FLOATS.  We began the lesson by discussing the various properties of the root beer, it's container, the ice cream and it's container. Once the class had shared most of the properties we began to think about the states of matter. Finally, we made predictions about the changes they expected as the root beer was poured over the ice cream. We hope you will watch and listen to our conversation and share your comments below.

This was a "cool" science experiment. Great answers, everyone!
