Nicholas- You can go through another book and use ideas from it.

Olivia- He took a piece of paper and scanned it in the computer and then he drew on it and put it in the book, I think that's cool.

Jordan- He used books like I Can Fly and got feelings for the book.

Madi- When Tiger came out of the water he was naked. Peter Brown had to think about whether he should use the word naked or not because maybe some kids will laugh.Most of us think he should've have used the word "naked" and some say no because it's in appropriate.

Lauren- I am going to try outlining before I color in.

Sheila- Might try outlining in one color then coloring in a different color.

Great thinking First Graders! I like how Peter Brown took his time to think through how he wanted his story to sound and look. How much time do you think he spent creating this book?
