We read Ducky by Eve Bunting. It is a true story about 29,000 bath toys that got washed overboard by a storm in 1992. This story told us that a boy found one and hundreds of toys were found on the eastern coast of Alaska. We wonder if you know anything about this? Do you or your friends know anything more about this? Have you found any of these toys?

We are writing real true stories that happened to us. We call these stories personal narratives. When we are uncareful we learn that it brings us to a new start.
We read lots of books and we are learning how to choose books. Readers look at the cover of books to see if they are interesting and at the words and pictures to see if they are easy, just right or challenging. Readers read book that are easy, just right and challenging. The Vikings |
